Chris George Official " Official"
Tamworth based Monster Truck follower Chris George is on his way to becomming Australia's first ever Official Monster Truck Official. Chris has agreed to undertake completing Work Health &Safety Courses. Advanced First aid Courses, obtaining a Blue Card, a fire prevention Course and sitting an exam compiled by AMTRA to ensure his full understanding of all AMTRA rules, he will also undergo a Police Check and an interview with insurers to ensure that he is competent to be in control of Monster Truck Events. Chris' duties will include checking trucks prior to each show for items such as active remote interrupters (kill switches) tail shaft loops etc as well as current helmet stamps, appropriate race suits etc.
Chris will control R.I's during the show and will liase with Police abd fire Crews at all events, It's a move in the right direction and hopefully will be viewed favourably by insurers and various State Government who have recently shown greater interest in the monster trucks.
