I loaded my Savage Monster Truck and kicker ramp then headed to the Gold Coast show expecting there to be only a couple of RC's including mine but just after I arrived some guys from "RC hobbies" on the Gold Coast showed up.
They had 1 buggy, 4 truggy's, 3 Monster Trucks and a hump ramp that could be hit from either direction.
With the 2 jumps we were able to put on some pretty good action for the crowd before the start of the show and during intermission, there were atleast a couple of backflips for which there were huge cheers from the crowd!!
After the show finished we decided to have a run on a mini oval track just to the side of the grand stand, on this flat track mini oval is where the truggy's really showed their performance flying around and around.
There were a few broken bits on the truggy's and trucks but the worst was the buggy with a number of parts snapped.
I had a a few collapsed bearings, nothing major, its all fixed ready for the Toowoomba show.
Another great show with huge thanks to Clive and the guy's from "RC hobbies"!!!
