BRACE YOURSELF TAMWORTH

Well this year Tamworth is coming alive with one of the most exciting high octane Family night ever seen in the region. The Tamworth Speedway Club hosts the first ever Super Speedway and Monster Thrill Spectacular.

What a night they have planned for the kids! Certain to be a crowd pleaser is the return from USA of the Australian Champion Monster Truck "Outback Thunda" - the yellow and red horse has just completed a tour of the States, taking it by storm, winning three of the last four shows. Thunda was the first Aussie Monster Truck to tour USA and is more than happy to be back on home soil.

Another first for Australian Speedways will be the debut of the insane, flame throwing Jet Quad Motorbike. This machine emits a 7 meter huge flame with sound barrier noise.

The kids ever popular "Whirlwind" Isuzu rollover stunt truck, will have the crowd in stitches with its topsy turvy, upside down performance.

Then the night literally starts to fire up with Tamworth’s biggest ever Stadium Skyshow Fireworks Display Extravaganza. This will have over $15,000 worth of fireworks to light up the sky in a beautiful fantasy.

As the saying goes “But wait, there's more". On this big post-Christmas night for the kids you are going to get a huge array of crazy stunts and more.

How about a bone crunching Crane Drop, sponsored by Northwest Cranes, where a car is raised 35 metres into the air and then released to plummet to the ground. There's the Steel Wall stunt. A car hurtles at full speed and collides head on into 2 cars, that are perched upright on their noses, with crushing effects.

Then a car smashing through a giant tunnel of fire with a stuntman strapped to the bonnet. All this before we even see the top line feast of Speedway events that will include Formula 500 grand prix, Fender Benders, Junior Sedans, Dirt Karts and even Mini Bikes.

What a night. Certainly a treat for all Family Members.
